To send emails from your webmail, click the Compose button on the webmail interface.

Choosing a format
With Orcon’s webmail interface you have a choice of sending a message in a plain text or HTML format.

While typing the message you can flick between the two formats, without losing your text, by clicking the and buttons.

Saving your message
All messages sent are saved in the Sent Items folder, if you wish to save a message that is yet to be sent, click on Save Draft.  When you next return to the compose screen it will be as you left it. Only one draft can be stored at a time.

Pick someone to send the message to
If you wish to send an email to someone already on your contact list, simply click on the To or Bcc buttons.  This will take you to the contact screen, tick the contact(s) required, then click the at the bottom of the list to add the selected contacts to your email. The compose new message screen will reappear showing the addresses you have selected.

NOTE: When you click on the email address itself in the contact list, a new email screen will appear ready to be sent to that address. However, any draft previously saved will be lost.

Adding an attachment
To attach a file to your message, click on the Attachments button to open the upload screen.  Once you have uploaded a file using the Browse and Upload buttons, the files will remain on the system for the day so if you wish to sent the mixture of files to different people, come back to the attachment screen and select the required files.  Only the files ticked will be sent with the email.  These files are not visible by any other users.
