There is a new, nationwide dial in number. So no need to change numbers if you are travelling around Australia. The new nationwide dial-in number is:

The following is a quick reference table providing you with Orcon dial-up numbers that will work from within New Zealand. If you have any queries, you can call us toll-free from New Zealand on 0508-467-266 (0508-4ORCON) and our helpdesk can help you.
a) Set Dial-in Number
New Zealand uses a single-number dialup system, that will be treated as a local call wherever you dial it from within New Zealand. Most residential homes in New Zealand have free local calls, so there should be no additional charges.
b) Login Using Your Full Username
i.e. [username]@orcon.com.au (where “[username]” is your username or login name on our dialup system. You must use “orcon.com.au” also, regardless of your email address, as the two may differ). Your password will be the same as it is in Australia.
c) Enjoy!
Enjoy using your connection, and let us know if you have any issues. You will simply be charged as if you had used the service in Australia (i.e. no additional charges if you are on a flat-rate plan, or are below your allocated hours). |
