How to get Internet Explorer to load faster

Web pages may take a long time to load, because by default, Internet Explorer is set to only download four pictures at a time. This registry tweak will allow Internet Explorer to load more then four pictures at any one time.

Warning: Using Registry Editor incorrectly can cause serious problems that may require you to reinstall your operating system.  We cannot guarantee that problems resulting from the incorrect use of the Registry Editor can be solved.  Use the Registry Editor at your own risk.

1) Click on Start -> Run then type: regedit
2) Navigate to the following folder: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\InternetSettings
3) Create the following DWORD: MaxConnectionsPerServer
4) Set the value to any high number (the default is 2)
5) Create the following DWORD: MaxConnectionsPer1_0Server
6) Set the value to any high number as well (the default is 4)
