My password fails

When checking your email, you may be prompted to type in your password again, although it has already been saved.

New Password:
If you have recently changed your password to a new one, you will need to remove the old password, and replace it with your new password.

Norton's Anti-virus:
Customers running anti-virus software that intercepts and scans emails, are likely to encounter this problem if the account name is not typed in correctly.  Please make sure your account name in Outlook Express is in the format username/pop3.orcon.net.nz where username is replaced with your own username.

Email alias:
If you have just added a new email alias to your account, please do not use this new email address as your username.  An email alias is basically an additional email address, but not a new email account.  Your normal username will still remain the same, despite the new email address being different, e.g. does not have your username showing before @orcon.net.nz.
