Before you can start using Incredimail, you will need to download the software. Scroll to the bottom of this page for the download link for Incredimail.
Once you have downloaded and installed Incredimail, you will be taken through the following set-up:
For Account Settings: select Let me configure settings myself, then click Next.
Type in your full name in the first field. This will be the name that comes up at the email recipients computer. This can be your full name, nick name or just your first name.
In the second field, type in your email address or your email alias. This is usually in the format username@orcon.net.au, then click Next to continue.
Incredimail will attempt to automatically detect your email settings for Orcon. This process may take awhile, due to Incredimail's large database of different email settings, so click the Skip to move to the next step.
Enter your incoming server as pop3.orcon.net.au all in lowercase.
Enter your outgoing server as smtp.orcon.net.au all in lowercase.
Click Next to continue.
Type in your username and password (these will have been supplied to you upon joining Orcon). Note: If you are using an email alias, you will need to type in the username and password you use to connect to the Internet. Click Next to continue.
Now that Incredimail has all your email settings, it will attempt to connect to the Orcon mail server to test your email settings. If you have entered all the above information correctly, you will get a small prompt box (as shown below) asking if you wish to make Incredimail your default Email client. Just click the Yes button to proceed.
